HowTo: Replace HDD with CF in Palm LifeDrive

What I like in LifeDrive is that finally Palm have a device that is not seriously limited in any regard - it has a decent screen resolution, a 4Gb hard drive, WiFi and a mike (which Palm T|X lacks).
It is nice to explore hardware hacking pages. But I need to get some new gadgets first (and find some time to play with them). What are the recent cool gadgets out there?

it would be an ideal combination if lifedrive had a phone in it. had the phone for a couple of weeks, but switched to palm, because of the no-phone feature.
Archijs: You had the phone but switched to Palm? That's cool, but does it mean that you don't use a phone any more? ;-)
Now more seriously - if you need a phone then Palm Treo may be your choice.
You may also choose a PDA with WiFi and microphone and use it for VoIP. Sadly, this may mean platform other than Palm, because there is no Skype for Palm. A benefit of proper PDAs compared with smartphones is a larger screen resolution, which is nice.
Have to look at Nokia 770 - it's not a phone, but might be an interesting device to explore. And it runs Linux.

whoops sorry meant that i had the lifedrive for a few weeks.
about the palm, it went on bout 2-3 months, sold it. had no use for all the applications, used the media player and the phone function, wifi rarely.
now i use a nokia 6. dont even remember the model, but nothing cool, just a phone with dialing and bluetooth.
maybe i dont get the cool features, but damn, if i want wi-fi, i use a notebook. and thats it! though again, iphone seems something nice, need to take it for a test run, looked like the big screen is cool.
