Del.icio.us URL change
The URL of del.icio.us bookmarking service has changed. Since September 2008 instead of the fancy “name-hack” (del.icio.us) they use something easier to write: delicious.com.

I noticed the new re-design (see Screen Shots And Feature Overview of Delicious 2.0 Preview) but did not pay attention to the URL until someone mentioned it.
Are you using Delicious? Via a website or using some additional software?

I use it, via the bookmarklet they provide. No additional software. I look up stuff by typing things like http://del.icio.us/cygri/tetris+mp3 into the browser bar (which isn't as awkward as it sounds because most of the URL is filled in by the history/autocomplete thingy).

It's amazing how the human mind works. It can read the words with dots in them. I wonder what this holds for the Internet and domains. It seems that URLs would be much easier to come up with when all you have to do is put a dot in a name if another version of it is already taken.
MM: Best to find a unique name. Dots can act as delimiters but people may forget to write a dot and get to a different site. If in need to split longer text in URLs then I would use dashes (-).

It's unique name. Maybe if they wrote delicious it's not unique name. But writing del.icio.us., is unique name and make it different then other.
